Planning for Our Holy Trinity Mission for 2023

 As we prepare for our Ministries and Programs for next year, we wanted to share with you our major focuses for our Mission of “Loving, Living, Serving & Giving...In God's Name!”  Each week in October you will be receiving information on one of the four key areas where our gifts of time, talents and financial resources will be used to continue this Holy Trinity Mission.

 The first area is “Sustaining & Growing Our Ministry of Excellence”.  We continue to strive for the best in all we do here at Holy Trinity.  A necessary part of this is meeting the demand of the growing costs and needs of our Programming, Staff and Ministry Teams. Like many businesses and families, our congregation experienced rising costs in 2022 of insurance, cost of living, utilities, and maintenance. The increases are anticipated to continue in 2023 and directly affect the cost to sustain our ongoing ministry of worship, pastoral care, faith formation, and more. Through your extreme generosity, we will be able to meet our obligations and sustain a Ministry of Excellence that enables the people of our congregation to be engaged, equipped, and empowered to share the gospel throughout our church, community, and the world.

  To achieve this mission, you will be invited shortly to consider your financial “Intent” to continue GOD's work for the coming year.  An “Intent Card” will be mailed to each member or family the week of October 10th. Then on “Our Stewardship Mission Weekend” of November 5th & 6th we will present our “Intents” during worship services, electronically or mailed to the church office in the stamped envelope which will be enclosed. Please pray about this request and we thank you in advance to do your best to respond generously as the Lord leads you.

 Together we are on a mission that in God’s name we can fulfill. Pulling together, let’s give generously in support of this work.  Through Loving, Living, Serving & Giving...In God's Name, we can continue to grow our ministry next year at Holy Trinity. 

As we prepare for our Ministries and Programs for next year, we wanted to share with you this week, the second major focus for our Mission of “Loving, Living, Serving & Giving...In God's Name!”  Each week in October you will be receiving information on one of the four key areas where our gifts of time, talents and financial resources will be used to continue this Holy Trinity Mission.

  The second area is “Growing Our Children, Youth & Family Ministries”. We are extending the focus of our Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministries, Sal Espino, to expand our current children and youth ministries to include the whole family. Our programs offer opportunities for people of all ages to learn about the scriptures, follow Christ’s leading in their lives, and form friendships. For the past two years, our community and world has been rocked by the Pandemic and the goal of these ministries is to now reunite people and families both within our church and the local community.

  To achieve this, Sal and our ministry team will be focusing on many areas, several of which include Sunday School; Youth Servant Leadership; Confirmation and Youth Mission Trips. We will be networking and partnering with other local churches, youth pastors and associations including “Youth with A Mission” (YWAM) and “Fellowship of Christian Athletes.” When these programs are strong and growing, we equip the next generation of leaders, both ordained and lay. When we invest in our families, we are investing in the church.

    You will be receiving in your mailbox this week, a letter inviting you to consider your financial “Intent” to continue God's work for the coming year along with the Intent Card. Then on November 5th & 6th “Our Stewardship Mission Weekend” during the worship service these “Intents” will be presented.  You can return your “Intents” in person, electronically or by mail to the church office in the stamped envelope enclosed with the letter. Please pray about this request and do your best to respond generously as the Lord leads you.
