Why is church membership important?

Membership at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is a dynamic growth tool that enables us to grow and become more spiritually mature in Christ. One of the most significant benefits of church membership is the experience of being a part of something larger than yourself.

When we take the formal step of belonging to a church in membership, we affirm the truth that we belong to Christ and his people, and we dedicate ourselves to caring for the people Jesus loves, which brings him great honor.

How Do I Become A Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church?

As a church, we are a community made up of visitors, regular attendees and participating members. When regular attendees decide they'd like to become committed participants in the vibrant life of the church, they consider becoming an active and participating member. Membership Classes are offered twice each year (Spring & Fall) held during the Sunday School hour (9:45am - 10:45am). This series of three classes include an overview / review of the Lutheran faith, as well as information about the many programs and ministries offered. You will also have an opportunity at this time to meet the staff as well as our lay leaders. After completing the Membership Class during worship you will be recognized as a member and be given a key to the church.
