Adult Sunday School & Small Group MINISTRY

 
 

We strive to provide a variety of adult small group opportunities to meet the needs of adults of all ages and stages of life. Sunday school is important because of its basic purpose - Christian education. There are short and long-term classes, mentoring relationships, as well as small bible study groups which all create opportunities for people to connect and grow.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School classes are held from 9:45am until 10:45am
between Sunday Worship Services (Aug - May)

  • The Wired Word — is an Adult Sunday School class is discussion based and focuses on topics regarding current news events.  The material is presented in light of what the Bible teaches on that subject. Classes are facilitated by lay leaders in the church. (This Class is held in Room 7/8 of the Education Building).
    Childcare is provided as this class is held during the Sunday School hour when children also have classes they can attend. The Nursery is also available for babies and children under the age of four.

  • Bible Principals —This is an Adult Sunday School class that is Bible based and focuses on everything regarding Jesus-centered living. This class is led by our Minister of Music, Vince Evans. (Class held in Choir Room)

  • Young Parent Bible Study Group - is designed for parents of young children (Babies & Elementary Age). A place where new parents can connect, share stories and find help with Biblical parenting. During the summer months this small group meets one Saturday per month. And during the regular school year meets during the Sunday School hour. (Check the Events Calendar or E-News for specific dates, times and meeting location). Childcare is available for this small group study.

 
 
 

ADULT SMALL GROUPs

MEN’S SMALL GROUP MINISTRY
- Bible on Tap - This (BOT) men’s ministry provides fellowship and service opportunities for men who are called to Love, Serve and Give through FAITH. They meet monthly on the second Saturday at noon, the 4th Tuesday at  6:00 PM, and as other
activities are scheduled.

WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP MINISTRY

  • Monday School - This ladies Bible study group meets on Monday mornings throughout the school year to study books written by Christian authors and participate in-depth fellowship, faith and fun together.  Coffee and goodies are also enjoyed. They meet in the Upper Room from 9:30am to 11:30am Aug. - May.

  • Women - Wine - Word - This women’s small group ministry meets in a small informal group once per month. If you're interested in becoming part of a vibrant and active women's ministry who encourage and empower one another through devotions, fellowship and lots of fun. And of course wine….

 
 
 
 

W-ELCA (WOMEN OF THE ELCA)
Prayer, Study & Ministry Groups

W-ELCA is the women's ministry affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Here, you will find: support of your faith journey; opportunities to serve and make a difference in our community and around the world; This is a community of women who pray together, share in Bible study, and experience the joy of growing in faith and friendship.  Holy Trinity’s W-ELCA
provides groups, known as circles such as; 

 
 
 

  • Rainbow Quilters - This small group ministry invites all those who enjoy cutting, sewing, and more! Each year the completed quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief for distribution around the globe where needed.  The Rainbow Quilters meet each month on the 2nd Tuesday at 9:00 AM in Room 7/8 of the Education Building. Anyone can join.

  • Prayer Shawl Ministry - is a small group ministry designed for those who knit or crochet enrich their effort by creating shawls, hats, scarves and wash cloths for those who are in need of encouragement. Newcomers are welcome and will be given direction on knitting or crocheting. Our prayer shawls are prayed over and distributed to those in need or at times presented as a special gift by the Stephen Ministers and Pastors. This small group meets in Room 7-8 in the Education Building on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.

W-ELCA PRAYER CIRCLES

Our W-ELCA prayer circles is most simply where the W-ELCA women’s ministry meets together to join hands in a literal circle of prayer. What impossibly big dream is God calling you to draw a prayer circle around? Come join one of our small prayer circles and watch how God answers prayers.

  • Evening Peace meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm
    in the Library located in Bldg. A. 

  • Tender Loving Care (TLC) meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm
    in the Fellowship Hall located in Bldg. A. 

  • God’s Grace meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm|
    in room Room 7/8 located in the Education Building B.
